Legs to Stand On™ is an initiative to prevent disease and restore the lives of persons afflicted with disabling diseases of the lower limb in countries with limited resources.

Legs to Stand On™ targets four of the leading causes of disability worldwide (lymphatic filariasis, leprosy, Buruli ulcer, diabetes) and other physical problems affecting the foot and lower limb.

We offer technical and research support to health systems and partners working in low-resource countries who want to build capacity, prevent disease, improve outcomes in lower limb care, and prevent disability through community home-based care.  Our efforts impact affected persons and their families locally where they live, work, and play.
